VocaJams is a celebration of the European Vocaloid community aimed at promoting illustrators & music producers from every corner of Europe.The theme of this project is summer road trip. Miku & friends will take you on journey across the old continent!We are working on a gorgeous artbook featuring some of the best illustrators in the community and a compilation album with new exclusive tracks.There will be a physical release for both, as an illustrated book and a CD. Extra merch is also in the making!

FAQ

What kind of project is VocaJams?

Vocajams is a creators collection project, involving some of the best producers and illustrators from all over Europe! We want to highlight the vibrant community we have, and so aim to release a physical artbook with over 30 illustrations and a themed CD album!

How many pieces am I expected to submit for this project?

You can submit up to 3 pieces that best represent you, all we ask for is one of the pieces to be in theme with the project.

How long do I have to submit my work?

Roughly 3 months from the beginning of the project to final submission.

Can anyone join the project?

Any artist from Europe! We also require our applicants to be over 18, as this will be a profit sharing project.

Which vocal synth characters are allowed?

In this project we will be mainly focusing on Miku, Luka, Rin, Len, Kaito, Meiko, Teto, vflower, GUMI, Yukari. However, all vocal synths characters are allowed.

How many creators are you looking for?

We expect the project to be a minimum of 30 illustrators and 10 music producers.

Do I need to have previous experience to participate?

All level of experience are welcome. We do however expect everyone to stick to the project timeline as close as possible.

How is revenue from sales handled?

Vocafest will be running this on a no-profit basis. Revenue from sales will be divided evenly to all participants.

Will there be a free digital release of this collection?

Music made for the project will be available for listening on streaming platforms on the same day of the physical release. A digital version of the illustrated book will be released at a later date.
